Rockland Bakery is planning to celebrate by hosting a big New Year’s Eve party at its flagship Bimbo Bakery in New York City.
The bakery will be hosting an event on Sunday, Dec. 26, featuring live music, live entertainment, and special dessert offerings.
The event is set to run from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., and will be free.
“We are really excited about this New Year, and we are looking forward to hosting the largest party of our lifetime,” said Tonya Smith, senior marketing manager for Rockland, in a press release.
“From live entertainment to the bakery’s signature menu items, we want everyone to experience what it’s like to be a part of this historic bakery and celebrate our 100 years of existence.”
The bakery’s New Year Eve event is expected to draw upwards of 500 people, with the number expected to climb as the day goes on.
The celebration is part of a New Year of the Arts celebration planned for December 26.
“It’s our biggest celebration yet, and our biggest New Year in Rockland,” Smith said.
“The celebration will include a variety of entertainment and activities for our community, including live music by the Rockland Jazz Band and DJ, and a special menu for dessert.”
Rockland is planning a total of six different events to be held across the country in 2018.
“If you haven’t yet, you should stop by our shop and see what we have in stock for New Year,” Smith added.
