A new Cuban bakery, the uncle mikes bakery, is the latest in a line of cultural offerings for the island nation, according to a website devoted to the cuisine.
The restaurant opened in the capital, Havana, in November and features the “traditional Cuban cuisine” with a focus on the traditional ingredients of the Cuban homeland, according the Cuban Daily News.
The bakery has a focus in the past, and is also known for producing its own coffees, but it also has the same menu as other restaurants in Havana.
The cafe’s website has been updated to note the new owner’s departure from the bakery.
“This is a major cultural change for the restaurant,” the website reads.
The new owner of the bakery, Mario M. Gomes, who is originally from Colombia, said he was inspired to start the business by the island’s tourism. “
We will continue to serve the Cuban people our traditional recipes and the traditional Cuban foods, and the new owners are happy to take on this new challenge.”
The new owner of the bakery, Mario M. Gomes, who is originally from Colombia, said he was inspired to start the business by the island’s tourism.
“People from different parts of the world come to Cuba and stay here and stay in this restaurant, which helps the tourism,” Gomes said.
I hope people can come and eat here. “
I think we will have a really good customer base.
I hope people can come and eat here.
I am sure that they will enjoy it.”
The restaurant is owned by two Cuban men: Miguel Vásquez, a lawyer, and José Carlos González, who owns the bakery’s two remaining locations.
“He’s the best chef,” Gives said.
Miguel Vázquez said the restaurant has a small but loyal following among Cuban travelers.
“They are very loyal.
I can’t explain it, but they love their food,” he said.
When he started the bakery in December, he brought in three of his cousins to help in the kitchen, Gomes added.
The owner and chef have been working at the bakery for about two months, and have now been open for business for two weeks.
“In our country, if we don’t have a good bakery, people would say that it’s bad,” he added.
“So, this is a good way to show that we can provide the Cuban citizens with a good restaurant.”
The cafe will continue serving traditional Cuban cuisine for the next few weeks, with a new owner on the way.
