Target is getting a taste of what it means to be the biggest retail chain in the country with the opening of a bakery shop at its Bloomington, Minnesota, headquarters.
Target has been a Target for decades and is no stranger to the American grocery store chain.
The company opened its first U.S. store in 2006 in its Bloomingdale, Minnesota., facility.
Target opened its second location in Bloomington in 2016, in the same location, but only to be known as Target, after the chain’s popular cereal brand.
Since its launch in 2006, Target has been in the grocery business in at least 30 countries, and in 2014 it opened a second, in-house grocery store in Australia, to serve its Australian customers.
Target announced on Friday that it would open a bakery in the new Target Bakershop in Bloomingdale.
The new location will be located on the second floor of the store, which will be opened on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum of eight people in each class.
Target plans to open at least two other locations in the U.K., France and India.
Target said the bakery will have a wide range of products, including cakes, muffins, cookies, cookies and pastries, as well as a variety of fresh, organic and natural foods.
It is expected to be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Target Bakeshop, which is part of Target’s North America operations, was created by the retailer in 2015.
Target will have 25 bakery locations in 25 states and the District of Columbia.
Target, which has stores in nearly every major city, was founded in 1955 by Sam Walton.
The chain has since grown to be one of the largest retailers in the world with more than 250 stores in more than 180 countries.
